Sixty Earn All-Academic Honors

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Sixty Meredith College student-athletes were named to the 2014 USA South All-Academic team as announced Monday from the conference office. The Avenging Angels represent nearly half of all Meredith student-athletes and the most recognized since joining the league in 2007.
Each student-athlete must earn at least a 3.0 term grade point average both semesters of a given academic year to be eligible. Any student-athlete participating in a varsity sport offered by a USA South member institution is eligible for recognition.
All-Academic Softball honorees for 2014 are:
Seniors: Lorri Cole, Leah Friedman, Ashley Green, Whitney Williams (congratulations to all four seniors !!)
Juniors: Kayla Lane
Sophomores: Courtney Saunders
Freshman: Macy Allen
